England from invaders for nearly 200 years. It is a
fascinating place for families to experience how troops must have felt guarding
the British coast.
Located only 5 minutes walk from our boarding area, our boat voyages compliment visiting Newhaven Fort as we can let you see how the fort would have looked like from the invaders point of view.

Nestled at the base of Newhaven Fort and approx five minutes walk from Sussex Voyages The Hope is one of Newhaven's best pubs with good food and drink. The Hope has an excellent upstairs veranda and conservatory with lovely views of Seaford bay.
