The Boat - Sussex Explorer
Our 10 metre Rigid Inflatable Boat
(RIB), is purpose built for coastal tours and offers the speed and maneuverability
allowing us to explore further than traditional boats would
venture.
Similar to those used by the R.N.L.I. our boat has great sea keeping abilities, and is equipped with the latest electronics and lifesaving equipment well in excess of the legal requirement.
Our boat is licensed and inspected by the Maritime Coastguard Agency (M.C.A.) and all our skippers hold professional qualifications and undergo extensive training by the company.
We use computer-controlled engines with ultra low emissions, Year 2006 Compliant, that are also ultra quiet. The vessel runs two engines simultaneously and to reduce underwater acoustic simple harmonics we ensure that they run at slightly separate speeds. Which creates less impact on the marine environment.
