Operating all year round from Sovereign Harbour marina in Eastbourne, Sussex Voyages offer bespoke boat voyages tailored to the areas of the national curriculum that the students are studying.
Our voyages are a unique way for students to get a practical understanding of subjects such as coastal erosion along a coastline that erodes at a rate of around 1 metre per year.
Our most popular educational tour is along Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters giving a full appreciation of geology, coastal erosion and the social / economic impact this causes.
We have also run for schools longer voyages as far as Shoreham which allow us time to relate information on the history of smuggling, and the history of how this part of the Sussex coast played a
large part in the German invasion plans of the UK in the second world war.
